After paddeling back to port, There is a store people hang out at
 before boarding the buses back to Toronto

It's Time to Dream the Impossible Dream. Head Out to the Mady Centre

At 3:00 PM it's time to pack up your luggage and load up the canoes and make your way to port.


After loading up, it's time to Head to the Mady Centre and buy our tickets for Man of La Mancha.

Two years in a row.  The Basin is very rough.  This year, we will journey along the southern shoreline.

A bell phone booth stands between the cottages.


Approaching port.  The baggage handlers are ready to check your luggage onto the Discount Truck.


Sir John Falstaff's buckhead hangs on the post at Shakespeare Hall.


People help unload the sound from the motor boat at Shakespeare Dock.


Everyone is gradually arriving at port.  Everyone gets to hang out at Shakespeare Hall until it's time to board the buses back to the City.


Caliban makes a final appearance at Shakespeare Hall and the baggage check truck before it's time to head to the Mady Centre to watch Man of La Mancha.

Sunday, Time to get ready to go the the Mady Centre

Sunday morning has arrived, the music stopped and people are resting before packing up.


Friends are getting ready to head back to the city at 11:00 AM.  They have to leave early to throw their Promise Cherry Beach Sunday Picnic.


The Promise Crew load the motor boat that ferry them to the Dodge Grand Caravan. 



The Promise Crew are now onboard the motor boat.  They are off the the office and than Cherry Beach.


Dave Boom takes the DJ Booth to play some Sunday afternoon Pack-Up Music.


People are enjoying the last few moments before it's time to head to the Mady Centre by Boat.


Around 2:45 PM the sound is dismantled and carried down the hill to the motor boat.

The Journey to Man of La Mancha. The Don Quixotie Dance

Saturday, July 21, 2012.

Following Dinner it was time to go to the Don Quixote Dance featuring djs like John Spine, Mike Gibbs, The Nature of Sound, and Aquitic Mind.


The Don Quixote DJ Line-up.  Some DJs are classics from years before and some new. 


Paul Reverend played some techno/house while everyone is finishing up their dinner.


The Unicorn makes an appearnce during the Don Quixote Dance


Jon Spine Played a great Dubstep set to honor Don Quixote at 9:45 PM.  Jon Spine's first track entitled Llamame - (Dave Nada Remix) - by The Count and Sinden got replayed three times. Click here and listen to the memorable track that dropped at 9:45 PM. 


Sunday July 22, 2012.

Sunday Morning, Aqutic Mind's set got delayed until 6:00 AM  That was good becuase I got to enjoy more music until the silence.


The Don Quixote Dance Hall is still going as the sun came up.


The music continued until 7:00 AM.  Everyone wanted more music and the music continued until 9:00 AM.


This is a great Track, The Man with the Harmonica. 


At 9:00 AM, Justin took the DJ booth and challenged everyone to his game.  Justin said "If you fill one or two garbage bags, I will play you two more tracks."  Justin handed out a few garbage bags and encourge everyone to clean up while the last two tracks are played befor the silence.

The Journey to Man of La Mancha.

This is the big day and celebration before Opening Night of Man of La Mancha.


The Breakfast Crew prepare Breakfast for everyone on the campsite. 


Around noon, breakfast was served.  An exciting day of swimming and dancing is in store.


A frog was spotted on the rocks by the falls.


Caliban makes an appearnce from The Tempest.


In the late afternoon, the DJ hit the decks for the eveningès Dinner and Dance. 



Around 8:00 PM Dinner was served.  Most people who enjoy live theatre would be in their seats enjoying the 8:00 PM Show.  Dinner was rice and Curry.

The Journey to Man of La Mancha

After claiming my luggage from the Discount Truck, it was time to transfer to the Canoe and travel by water to Moon River Falls for a two night stay.

Approaching the campsite.  Boreal Tours has used this campsite since 2008 because the campsite at Upper Moon River is closed because of the 400 Extention.


Landed safely at Moon Falls.  I got my MEC Tent up and ready to enjoy the weekend of swimming, hiking and hanging out with Caliban.


Supper was served after dark under the Yorkville Stage Lights.  The bugs were so intense that you need to cover up.

Man of La Mancha is only a few days away.  Over the weekend of July 20 -22, The Journey to Don Quixote at the Mady Centre for the Performing Arts

I enter the Mady Centre for the Performing Arts with my luggage and tent to start the incredible Journey to seeing Don Quixote.

Friday July 20, 2012


Inside the Mady Centre for the Performing Arts, It was time to check in and obtain my boarding pass for a flight to Spain, where the performance was set.


After receiveing my boarding pass, It was time to check my luggage into the Discount Truck.


Four large yellow Airplanes taxi into the air terminal.  People may hang out on the sidewalk until final Boarding Call.  I boarded Parkenson Airlines Flight 258.

All the planes touch down at the C-Store and Restaurant for a half-hour layover. Passengers can enter the terminal to buy snacks to enjoy en-route to Man of La Mancha


After the layover, when the horns sound it was time to board the planes and enjoy a 45-minute flight to The Lower Moon River.  The Planes taxi onto the dustiest taxiway ever.


After a safe landing, it was time to go the baggage claim ramp to claim my luggage.  Baggage handlers toss the luggage off the Discount truck.  Please tag your luggage before you check it.  Baggage handlers are not responsible for lost or stolen luggage.

July 19, 2012, I saw on the bus a pair of patio chairs on the truss of the Blinking Red Lights.


Two patio chairs hang from the truss at the Hurst at Little Ave railway crossing.
