The Five Points Theatre
The Five Points Theatre, Formerly known as the Mady Centre (Downtown Community Theatre) is a major project in Downtown Barrie. The city of Barrie Purchased the former Scotia Bank building on Dunlop and Bayfield Street in the fall of 2009. Theatre By the Bay, Talk is Free Theatre, and many other events were held in the old bank building. In June 2010, the building was stripped and torn down and the re-build in underway at the same location. A Grand Opening was held on September 10, 2011.
