Let's take a moment to watch this short film. This film will take you in my footsteps from the Barrie Transit Terminal to the Diesel Playhouse onboard a Greyhound Bus.
The Tour of The Diesel Playhouse Bar
Now let's take a tour of the upper level of the Diesel Playhouse. This is what the Diesel Playhouse looked like back on the 24th of May of 2008. This tour was filmed with the Shakes of Excitement.
The Bar is where food, drink and popcorn can be purchased before the show. We will remember these great memories of the Diesel Playhouse.

A Closer View of the Diesel Playhouse. A fence was built around the perimeter of the Building.
The Large bay window was filled in with cinder blocks. If you remember, The Red DIESELSign stuck out of the center of this window.
Large beams were inserted in the base of the building. The front of house is being preped to be moved onto the sidwalk.
The Diesel Playhouse Main Space and Caberet Spaces were demolished.
This is the first and last glimpse of what the Diesel Playhouse looks like from the inside.
The Elevator Shaft is still in tact.
Looking down stage centre towards the Front of House. The First floor housed Jeff Healey's Roadhouse and the Diesel Playhouse Box Office. I went there to pick up my tickets when I watched Evil Dead for the last 5 times. It was cheaper to purchase my tickets at the box office.
The Second Floor housed the DIESEL PLAYHOUSE Administartion offices. The Third floor was the Front of House, Bar, The Main Space, and Caberet Space

The Theatre has been demolished to make way for an ugly Condo Tower
The Front of House has been moved onto the sidewalk of Blue Jays Way.
One lane has been blocked because the Front of House had to be moved onto the sidewalk. The Front of House is being preserved because it is a heritage building. Lot of other heritage buildings were knocked down and the frontage was preserved.

5 years ago today, I watched Evil Dead The Musical for the sixth time before the show closed for the Christmas Holidays. In the Meantime, a silly show opened for only months known as JEWTOPIA in the Diesel Playhouse.
This is My Story:
After I promoted Evil Dead the Musical to death, a friend at Cherry Beach offered me a pair of free tickets to the show before it closed on September 8, 2007. I had the opportunity to take my friend Irving to the show. For this viewing, I got my favorite seat in the house, SZ 2 A Seat 6.
For this occasion, I wore my White Theatre by the Bay T-shirt to my first Free Viewing of Evil Dead the Musical.
This is what the inside of the Diesel Playhouse looked like on that memorable night during intermission.
My friend arrived at the show late because he had some work before and missed part of Act 1. Latecomers were seated towards the back of the auditorium.
This was the outcome after the show for the sixth time and Irving's first time. Both of us wore white Theatre By the Bay T-shirts for this occasion. I got Splattered good at this viewing. Cheryl, the cellar girl splashed me good because I starred at her face during the Do the Necronomicon Number.
A Splattered Deadite emerges from the Diesel Main Space.
Please take a moment to remember Evil Dead the Musical and the Diesel Playhouse.
Keep your ears to the tracks for more great posts.
Monday, June 4, 2012, We shall Remember the Events at Evil Dead the Musical
On June 4th, 2007, I returned to the Diesel Playhouse to see bloody and exciting Evil Dead the Musical for the second time. Today I like to honour that viewing by posting the outcome of the show. My seat number was SZ 3 A Seat 12. I was very lucky to switch seats at intermission and occupy SZ 2 A Seat 6. That seat was Front Row Centre and I got splattered on a lot.
When I watched Evil Dead the Musical on May 21, 2007, I was in SZ 1 A Seat 5. I did not get splattered on at all. Another audience member sitting next to me said that it sucked that he did not get splattered on.
Keep your Ears to the Tracks for Evil Dead Viewing 3 Anniversary.
On March 21, 2011, I took a visit to the Diesel Playhouse to see what it looks like this day. The Large black banner has been removed revealing the brick of the theatre without the Diesel Playhouse Sign sticking out the window.
Approaching the Diesel Playhouse on Blue Jays Way. This was the route I took to the Diesel Playhouse when I got off the bus and made that triumphal Walk to the 8:00 show
A new banner has been hung over the Large bay window over the entrance to the Diesel Playhouse.
The old entrance to Jeff Healey's Roadhouse is the office for Bisha Hotel and Residence. If you had lot's of money, you could live in the Diesel Playhouse and dream about watching Evil Dead the Musical in the Splatter Zone

Since the house of the Dead is no more, The Zombies now occupy Theatre Passe Muraille in Nictophobia Films Production of Night of the Living Dead Live.
Every time I watched Evil Dead the Musical, the Diesel Playhouse played memorable rock and roll songs of the 80's and 90's. Over the 12 times I watched Evil Dead, I managed to find out the names of songs that were played in the theatre. Here is a Rundown of the songs which I call Diesel Playhouse Anthems.
There are a few more anthems that I do not know the titles to. I may find out if Evil Dead the Musical returns to Toronto in the future.

It Time "TO HANDLE"
The most beautiful girl, Charyl. She splatterd me good after staring her down on Sepember 4, 2007. I almost kissed her because she was so beautiful. In the song "Join Us" She has mentioned to the audience that she was beautiful.
