Crazy for you officially closed on Augest 30th, 2013 at 10:30 PM Eastern Time. Theatre By the Bay had another great season. I would like to thank Larissa Mair, The actors, board members and volunteers who helped put on a great show this season. Meet Saphi, Coco, Lucy, and friends help defeat the Count and his bat army through jokes, laughter, and more in this crazy panto. You will be laughing all the way to the blood bank because it's a comedy in the Jugular Vein.

The Five Points Theatre Formerly known as the Mady Centre is now officially open for your upcoming productions, film screenings, recitals, and other events.

As the sun sets on opening day of the Barrie Downtown Community Theatre, everyone gathers outside for the unveiling of the name of the theatre. |
Following the Unveiling of the theatre name, everyone files into the new theatre for the Evening Gala. The gala featured various acts from Song, Dance, and Stand-Up Comedy. Scott A. Hurst recited the following passage from The Tempest.
To wrap things up a short slide presentaion of the Surgery of the Mady Centre was shown to a live performance of the Seasons of Love from RENT.

The Surgery is now complete and on the 10th Day of September, The Mady Centre for the Performing Arts will be opening.

The roll-up door will be painted a dark grey to match all the rest of the building's colour scheme. The colour scheme is a combination of black, olive green, and dark grey. |
There is tones of more work to be done on the Downtown Community Theatre before the offical opening on September 10, 2011. Furniture has to be installed in the dressing rooms, offices, etc.
